  91. Since 1988, VAR Grade has been hailed as the most flexible, complete,
  92. and capable grading program available.  It allows you to grade, record
  93. attendance, and do seating charts for your classes.  This is a complete
  94. system, and will do just about anything that you need to do.  In
  95. particular, it will allow you to grade, analyze, and print grades and
  96. attendance, do seating charts, and have database items.  Below is a list
  97. of some of the numerous features of the program.  In general, the
  98. program allows an almost unlimited number of students, grades,
  99. attendance, database items, reports, and analyses.

  101. You can:
  102.     Have up to 16000 students.
  103.     Group students into an unlimited number of sections.
  104.     Have up to 2000 assignments (tasks).
  105.     Use letter and/or number grades.
  106.     Weight, sum, average, discard, or require tasks.
  107.     You can have extra credit tasks.
  108.     Have up to 4 different grading systems per class.
  109.     Have up to 240 attendance days.
  110.     Use attendance to help determine grades.

  194. If VAR Grade is on a disk:

  196. 1) Have a hard disk with 2 megabytes available, or two floppy disks
  197.    with at least 720K available on each.
  198. 2) Put the disk into drive A.
  199. 3) Type "A:INSTALL".  Then just follow the directions.

  201. If VAR Grade has been downloaded:
  202. 1) Type "PKUNZIP VARG60 INSTALL.EXE". (If the ZIP file has another
  203.    name than VARG60.ZIP, rename it to VARG60.ZIP).
  204. 2) Type "INSTALL", then follow the directions.
